You can delete your timetracker.live account yourself, from inside the app, on any platform we publish it for — the web, Android, iPhone, Windows, macOS and Linux. Nobody has to approve it and there is nothing to wait for.
Delete it from inside the app
- Sign in and open Profile — in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen on a phone, in the sidebar or the account menu on a computer.
- Scroll to Delete account at the bottom of the page and open it.
- Type delete in the box to confirm, then press Delete my account.
Your account and its data are removed immediately and permanently, and you are signed out of that device. There is no waiting period, no deactivated state and no way back — so export or copy anything you want to keep first.
Deleting needs a connection, because the data lives on our servers; the button is disabled while the app is offline.
If you cannot sign in
Write to [email protected] from the email address the account uses, with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We aim to answer within 5 business days and will delete the account for you. If you have simply forgotten your password, resetting it from the sign-in screen is faster.
What is deleted
Everything the account holds goes with it, in one step:
- Your account itself — email address, password, timezone and every setting, the pomodoro ones included
- All life areas you created
- All activities, with their goals, area assignments and tile layout
- All time entries and the whole tracking history
- Connected sign-in accounts (Google, Apple)
- Any outstanding email-verification and password-reset links, which stop working at once
- The usage counts we keep against the account on our own servers
What may be retained
- Records we are required to keep by law, or to resolve a dispute — kept no longer than we have to, and for up to 1 year
- Events already recorded in our analytics providers, and messages you sent us. Ask us and we will delete those too
- Anonymized, aggregated figures that cannot identify you
- A copy of the database in our daily backups, for a limited period. Nothing is restored from them into the running service on its own, and they are overwritten in the ordinary course
